Job Description
The marketing analytics team collaborates with stakeholders from the commercial and marketing sectors to analyze and measure the impact of marketing on our business objectives.
The Senior Data Analyst within the marketing analytics team will be responsible for collecting, structuring, and analyzing data to derive relevant insights that will guide the strategy and optimization of our marketing initiatives. This includes designing and managing data collection and analysis solutions, as well as analyzing the performance of marketing initiatives and their impact on acquisition, retention, engagement, and conversion.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Understand business objectives and marketing initiatives to identify key performance indicators to evaluate results against these objectives
- Analyze correlations between business results and marketing initiatives.
- Establish a benchmarking methodology and set targets for identified key indicators.
- Measure and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Be a thought leader and promote data-driven decision-making among stakeholders.
- Translate questions and business challenges raised by stakeholders into analytics projects.
- Provide a comprehensive view, across brands and all channels, of performance, insights, and recommendations.
- Communicate campaign performance findings and drive strategic and optimization changes with stakeholders.
- Provide data analysis and reports to identify trends and opportunities across channels, audience segments, and player segments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure marketing efforts are effective and drive acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
- Develop marketing experiments to understand the business impact of paid media campaigns and creator-led campaigns.
- Leverage data from Adobe Analytics, Gamesight, Salesforce, Datorama, and various other tools and platforms.
- Develop robust analytical processes to set campaign expectations, inform decision-making, and provide optimization recommendations based on performance data.
- Collaborate with the data science team to use predictive analytics to analyze data from audiences, website interactions, media campaigns, CRM, and social networks.
- Participate in budget planning to determine optimal budget allocation for a given campaign.
- Implement marketing experiments to evaluate the business impact of paid media.
- Communicate findings and discuss recommendations with brand teams and cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- At least 4 years of proven experience in analytics; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and formulate concrete recommendations. At least 3 of these years in paid media and marketing analytics.
- Experience in marketing analytics or performance roles for paid media and content creators.
- Prior experience with reporting and dashboards, data infrastructure, and queries to track key marketing indicators from multiple data sources using SQL, R/Python, Tableau, and other data/visualization tools; ability to monitor trend evolution, share insights, and formulate recommendations
- Knowledge of different paid media measurement options, such as conversion APIs (CAPI), brand awareness surveys, conversion lift studies, and control samples.
- Experience with statistical methods such as regression and hypothesis testing
