Overview
Within the Chief Risk Officer department, you will support the team in Risk Management activities with a focus on Investment Services Risks.
What your activities will be
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and support the department team in the following activities:
• Monitor and govern the risk metrics of the customer risk model used at Intesa Sanpaolo
• Ensure the quality of customer risk metrics at the investment instrument and portfolio level
• Interact with the risk model provider, other bank departments, and product factories
• Prepare and present reporting for management and supervisory authorities
Who we are looking for
If you have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you:
- Master's degree in quantitative disciplines (computer science, economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, physics);
- Knowledge and application of statistical methodologies and data analysis tools (e.g., data mining, machine learning);
- Ability to program in Python, in-depth knowledge of the Office suite, and in particular Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Knowledge of SAS is a plus;
- Skills in data processing and reporting as well as knowledge of financial instruments
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
- Knowledge of financial markets
- A Master's or PhD is considered a preferential qualification
