About the Role

As Public Operations Lead, Colombia you will define and drive the public market access strategy through three access routes: national, territorial, and EPS. You will lead cross-functional alignment and high-level government relations, navigating Colombia's political transition to build a durable, institutionally anchored public leadership position for Sanofi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute Colombia's annual public market strategy through three access routes — National, Territorial, and EPS — prioritizing according to potential and viability.

  • Manage the public market budget for Colombia, ensuring alignment with COPAC's financial objectives and adapting commercial execution in real time based on competitive and market price dynamics.

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key public sector stakeholders — Ministry of Health, PAI members, territorial authorities, PAHO, IETS, CNPI, and scientific societies — navigating national, territorial, and EPS political landscapes.

  • Lead negotiations with distributors, government entities, and other stakeholders to ensure portfolio placement in national immunization programs and expand vaccine access across all public market routes.

  • Define the strategy for engagement with health authorities, including vaccine positioning, technical dossiers, and value evidence tailored to public sector decision-makers.

  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment with PAC Public Operations, Public Affairs, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, the private market team, and LATAM stakeholders to keep strategy and execution synchronized.

  • Pioneer new approaches to public market access, positioning Colombia as a COPAC reference market and exporting best practices across geographies to build a durable, institutionally anchored public leadership model.

About You

Experience: Experience in market access, public affairs, or government relations within the pharmaceutical, vaccine, or public health industry — ideally with exposure to national immunization programs or public sector procurement.

Soft and Technical Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Colombia's public health system.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and build trust with government entities, health ministries, and multilateral health organizations.

  • Strong strategic and commercial capability: able to define market penetration strategies, prioritize according to potential and viability, and monitor competitive dynamics in real time.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional alignment and influence internal stakeholders, with strong collaboration and communication competencies.

  • Political acumen, with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset to pioneer new public market access models.

  • Ability to operate in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments, applying structured problem-solving methodologies.

Education: Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.

Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.
