Project Coordinator
Location: Gravesend, Kent (Hybrid)
Salary: £25,269 to £27,489 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 28 per week (This role includes some pre-planned evening work - working days are flexible and will be discussed at interview)
Contract: Fixed term contract (starting from 1st July 2026 until 2nd April 2027)

As a Project Coordinator in our Refugee Support and Restoring Family Links team, you’ll play a key role in delivering group sessions, wellbeing activities, and practical support for refugees and asylum seekers. In this role, you’ll help people navigate complex systems, rebuild their lives, and feel more connected to their community. If you’re someone who brings both empathy and practical problem‑solving skills, this could be the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
What will a day in the life of a Project Coordinator involve?

Coordinating and delivering project work, group sessions, and wellbeing activities.

Championing and managing volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Building relationships with external partners and maintaining referral pathways.

Responding to safeguarding concerns and managing risks in line with policy.
To be a successful Project Coordinator, what will you need?

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.

Experience working with vulnerable people, ideally refugees or asylum seekers.

Excellent communication skills, including working with interpreters.

Confidence in advocating for service users and navigating support systems.
