About the role:

The Operator performs the manufacturing and storage of medicinal products in accordance with valid Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Furthermore, they assist with the qualification/validation and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and products as instructed.

Main tasks

  • Proper execution of activities in accordance with valid Standard Operating Procedures and processing protocols

  • Proper operation of equipment and machinery for individual manufacturing steps (formulation, filling, inspection, preparation of primary packaging materials) within the process group

  • Creation of continuous, proper documentation of work execution, particularly under GMP and EHS aspects

  • Ensuring equipment and device availability (e.g., troubleshooting technical malfunctions, etc.) in cooperation with technical staff

  • Proper implementation and adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory requirements as well as GMP and EHS guidelines within the area of responsibility, and initiation of countermeasures in case of deviations in coordination with the sub-process manager

  • Training and instructing employees (e.g., as part of mentorships during "training-on-the-job") in valid SOPs and operating instructions

About you:

Education and professional experience

  • Completed vocational training as a pharmaceutical technician or equivalent, or long-term professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Soft skills

  • Good teamwork skills

  • High flexibility to handle changing tasks

  • Independent work according to SOP specifications in a GMP-regulated environment

Technical skills / abilities

  • Professional experience in the areas of formulation and aseptic filling (including work with isolators and RABS systems)

  • Working in multiple cleanroom zones (Zone A, B, C, and D)

  • Experience with automatic and manual visual inspection of sterile dosage forms is an advantage

  • Knowledge of EHS-compliant working
