You build growth in a market that's still wide open
Do you want to build something that doesn't exist yet?
Within Ecare's mental health care team, sales currently happens "on the side."
It works. But it also limits growth.
That's why we're looking for someone who will really take this on.
Someone who goes to market, sees opportunities, and closes deals.
Not in a scattered way.
But in a role where you build yourself.
What you'll do
As New Business Developer Mental Health Care, you're responsible for building this market.
You:
-
Generate and follow up on leads
-
Map out the mental health care market (organizations with approximately 10–100 practitioners)
-
Prepare sales conversations and take the lead in them
-
Build relationships with potential customers
-
Create a sales and market development plan
-
Ensure Ecare becomes visible to the right organizations
The sales cycles are relatively short (estimate: approximately 3 months)
You often sit directly with decision-makers at the table.
You work closely with product, development, and subject matter experts.
You handle the commercial side.
Where you'll work
Ecare develops software for healthcare. Within the mental health care team, we're working on an ECD that supports practitioners in their daily work. Less administration. More focus on the client.
The goal behind it is clear:
help healthcare professionals do their work better — and in doing so, advance mental health care.
We believe this can contribute to:
-
More job satisfaction for practitioners
-
More efficient processes
-
And possibly shorter waiting times in mental health care
You'll join a team that operates like a start-up within Ecare:
agile, direct, and with plenty of room to make your own decisions.
What you bring
-
2–5 years of sales experience
-
Experience in business services (e.g., consultancy, software, services)
-
Affinity with healthcare or willingness to develop it
-
Bachelor's degree level of work and thinking
And most importantly:
-
You get energy from the sales process
-
You keep going, even when it doesn't work right away
-
You're a pleasant conversation partner for professionals
-
You enjoy working with a team
You don't need to have a "perfect profile."
We're looking for someone who wants to build this.
