About the role

Manufacturing Managers support the Production Manager in the manufacturing department with production planning, the operation of equipment and facilities, qualification and validation activities, and the optimization of manufacturing processes. You will independently lead error investigations and develop product-specific and process-engineering improvements while adhering to cGMP and HSE requirements to ensure compliance, working in close cooperation with the process group management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the implementation, adherence to, and maintenance of the process group's cGMP and Health, Safety, and Environment systems

  • Leading systematic investigations into complex process and procedural deviations and developing appropriate corrective and preventive actions

  • Leading and implementing change and optimization projects within the framework of the Change Control process

  • Leading and participating in cGMP-compliant validation and qualification projects. Contributing to the creation of relevant documentation and monitoring activities

  • Contributing to the optimization of processes and equipment, developing automation concepts and strategies, and preparing and conducting operational trials with a focus on cost-effectiveness, availability, quality, safety, and environmental protection in collaboration with process group engineers

  • Supporting the process group in day-to-day operations, production issues, maintenance and repair questions, new equipment installations, new facility commissioning, and inspection preparations

  • Creating, managing, and providing training on manufacturing documentation, SOPs, and procedural instructions to ensure compliance. Training and guiding employees on operational matters and verifying proper execution of tasks

About you

Education & Professional Experience

  • Completed degree (Diploma or Master's) in a natural science (e.g., biochemistry, biotechnology, biology) or a state examination in pharmacy; a PhD is desirable

  • Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in the manufacturing of medicinal products

  • Experience working with electronic manufacturing documentation

  • Experience in the manufacturing, filling, and control of sterile dosage forms is an advantage

Soft Skills / Technical Skills

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

  • Very good teamwork and communication skills

Languages: Very good German and English language skills (fluent in spoken and written)

The salary range for this position is :€79 104,00 - €105 472

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
