Lead Maintenance Operator

At our Salamanca plant, where we are dedicated to the production of animal health vaccines, we are currently looking for a Lead Maintenance Operator.
We are looking for someone passionate about keeping our plant's equipment, systems, and facilities in optimal condition, ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards. As a Lead Maintenance Operator, you will have the opportunity to lead the planning and execution of preventive and corrective activities at our plant in Salamanca. Your commitment to safety, energy efficiency, and teamwork will be fundamental to success in this role.
General objective of the position
Maintain the plant's equipment, systems, and facilities in conditions that meet the function for which they were designed, with the established capacity and quality and safety requirements.
Functions and responsibilities:

Ensure proper compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.

Gatekeeper, Planner, and Scheduler in SAP PM for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Daily communication between the different IPTs and their manager to ensure the correct distribution of work among available resources.

Preventive maintenance management.

Active participation in TIER (operational meetings).

Support in training other members of the area in facility maintenance tasks, in order to create a culture of "self-maintenance" within the maintenance area and IPTs.

Execution of assigned preventive maintenance activities on time, in form, and on date.

Train other colleagues when possessing specific knowledge.

Manage the spare parts stock for assigned jobs and track requests for them.

Continuous communication within the area to maintain a correct transfer of information between shifts.

As a maintenance technician and operator, you will ensure energy efficiency in the performance of your daily activities, both preventive and corrective.

Preventive functions as a preventive resource.

Prevention and Environment Interlocutor (IPMA) for campus 2.

Intervention Team – rescuer.
Required qualifications:
-
We are looking for a person with technical training and experience in industrial maintenance in regulated environments. Preferred training is in Mechanics, Electricity and Electronics, Refrigeration Systems, and HVAC.

Knowledge of Automation and PLCs, meaning the ability to interpret and interact with automatic process machinery. (Consultation and handling, not programming).

Knowledge of SAP PM or equivalent CMMS.
