Job Summary: As a Commercial Real Estate / Energy Law Clerk, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and evaluate land control instruments including deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms.
2. Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues across site control documentation packages.
3. Organize and structure findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review.
4. Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents.
5. Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
6. Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
2. Hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments — deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way.
3. Strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents.
4. High attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats.
5. Comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience supporting utility-scale energy or transmission projects.
2. Familiarity with PJM site control requirements or interconnection documentation.
3. East Coast-based with East Coast project or legal practice experience.
