Quality Control Operations (QCO) is a dynamic team that supports all Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) of our Animal Health site in Boxmeer by timely performing all quality control tests. We are responsible for all physical, chemical, biological and microbiological tests on vaccines, pharmaceutical end products, antigens, raw materials, APIs and primary packaging materials in Boxmeer.
About the role
As Lab Technician Chemistry you play an important role within the team and ensure that all tests are carried out with good quality and remain under control. We work according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and strive to continuously improve and better organize our processes. We are looking for a Lab Technician Chemistry who is open to change, strives for continuous improvement, is critical and thinks in terms of solutions.
Tasks and responsibilities include

Performing, reporting and checking Quality Control tests according to standard procedures using various physical and chemical testing techniques (such as HPLC, wet chemistry).

Identifying and reporting deviations and trends according to applicable GMP procedures.

Entering test results, performing data analysis and trending, and assessing these where necessary.

Participating in improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools.

Adapting and/or writing work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Your profile
-
Completed MBO / HBO education in chemistry.

Work experience in a Quality Control environment.

Experience with chromatographic techniques such as HPLC and wet-chemical testing techniques.

Affinity with continuous improvement processes and experience with Lean Six Sigma tools such as SPS and Kaizen.

Preferably experience with SAP and electronic data processing in Quality Control test systems.

You are accurate, quality-oriented and have problem-solving ability.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (oral and written).
