Quality Control Operations (QCO) is a dynamic team that supports all Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) at our Animal Health location in Boxmeer by performing all quality control tests in a timely manner. We are responsible for all physical, chemical, biological, and microbiological tests on vaccines, pharmaceutical finished products, antigens, raw materials, APIs, and primary packaging materials in Boxmeer.
About the position
As a Lab Technician Chemistry, you play an important role within the team and ensure that all tests are performed with high quality and remain under control. We work according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and strive to continuously improve and better organize our processes. We are looking for a Lab Technician Chemistry who is open to change, strives for continuous improvement, is critical, and thinks in a solution-oriented way.
Tasks and responsibilities include

Performing, reporting, and checking Quality Control tests according to standard procedures using various physical and chemical test techniques (such as HPLC, wet chemistry).

Identifying and reporting deviations and trends according to applicable GMP procedures.

Entering test results, performing data analysis and trending, and assessing these where necessary.

Participating in improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools.

Adjusting and/or writing work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Your profile
-
Completed MBO / HBO education in the field of chemistry.

Work experience in a Quality Control environment.

Experience with chromatographic techniques such as HPLC and wet chemical test techniques.

Affinity with continuous improvement processes and experience with Lean Six Sigma tools such as SPS and Kaizen.

Preferably experience with SAP and electronic data processing in Quality Control test systems.

You are accurate, quality-oriented, and possess problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
