Job Description
Natixis, through its Trade Finance department, is leading a multi-year strategic program aimed at implementing an in-house solution for monitoring risk and collateral limits and sub-limits, covering Trade Finance Corporate and Commodities activities.
To strengthen the project team as part of this program, a Backend Java Spring Consultant Developer is sought.
The main missions of the service provider will consist of:
• Backend Development: Design, code and maintain high-performance and robust solutions in Java 21 with Spring Boot.
• Code Quality: Produce clean, maintainable, efficient and well-documented code across the entire application stack.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose, debug and optimize applications to ensure performance and stability.
• Collaboration and Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and fostering knowledge sharing.
• Agile Methodology: Fully engage in Agile rituals (Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Communication and Transparency: Communicate proactively on task progress, report any blockers or difficulties encountered.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement of technical processes, organizational practices and development practices.
• Production Deployments and Support: Participate in production deployments and ensure post-launch application support.
Qualifications
The selected consultant must have a higher education degree and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to Java Spring projects. Experience in the financial sector is a major asset.
Essential Technical Skills:
• Language/Framework: Java 21, Spring / Spring Boot.
• Databases: Mastery of Oracle.
• APIs & Web Services: Expertise in SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Solid experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git and test automation principles.
• Methodologies: Confirmed mastery of Agile/Scrum methodology.
