Job Description
Natixis, via its Trade Finance department, is leading a strategic multi-year program aimed at implementing an in-house solution for monitoring risk limits, sub-limits, and collateral, covering Trade Finance Corporate and Commodities activities.
To strengthen the project team as part of this program, we are looking for a Java Spring Backend Developer Consultant.
The contractor's main missions will consist of:
• Backend Development: Designing, coding, and maintaining high-performance and robust solutions in Java 21 with Spring Boot.
• Code Quality: Producing clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-documented code across the entire application stack.
• Problem Solving: Diagnosing, debugging, and optimizing applications to ensure performance and stability.
• Collaboration and Reviews: Actively participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and fostering knowledge sharing. • Agile Methodology: Fully engaging in Agile rituals (Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Communication and Transparency: Proactively communicating on task progress, reporting any blockers or difficulties encountered.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contributing to the improvement of technical and organizational processes and development practices.
• Production Releases and Support: Participating in production deployments and providing post-launch application support.
Qualifications
The selected consultant must have a higher education degree and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to Java Spring projects. Experience in the financial sector is a major asset.
Essential Technical Skills: • Language/Framework: Java 21, Spring / Spring Boot. • Databases: Proficiency in Oracle. • API & Web Services: Expertise in SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger. • DevOps & CI/CD: Solid experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, and test automation principles. • Methodologies: Confirmed mastery of the Agile/Scrum methodology.
