An application architect plays a tactical role with the goal of ensuring that the technological choices and system integration approaches to be used are aligned and compatible with the strategic vision of corporate architecture. You will create, maintain, and evolve the company's standard solutions portfolio, following global policies and standards to best meet business needs. You must have the ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them with clear and logical thinking.
For this, we are looking for people who work with a focus on results, with previous experience in IT architecture and/or technical leadership. Experience working with concepts of Microservices, Cloud Native, DDD, Big Data, API First, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies.
What will be your main deliverables?
- Creation and management of the architecture standards portfolio
- KPIs for solution architecture management and reuse
- Understanding business demands and translating them into solutions following corporate architecture guidelines
- Being passionate about technology
What will your day-to-day look like?
- You will be responsible for creating solution architecture designs that meet business demands while following corporate architecture definitions, always aiming for component reuse, security, and other architectural principles;
- You will oversee the detailing of solution designs into application designs together with application architects;
- You will engage the application architect and teams to proactively participate in the pre-determined architecture process;
- You will participate in architecture forums with your peer architects from the business unit.
Qualifications What we are looking for in you!
- Degree in technology-related fields;
- Previous experience:
- IT architecture and/or technical leadership
- Microservices
- Distributed environments (Kubernetes, Containers, Service Mesh...)
- Knowledge of major Cloud providers
- DDD
- Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HDFS, Hive, HBase, Delta…)
- NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Redis...)
- API First
- DevSecOps
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban...)
- Leadership profile and proactivity
