Main responsibilities

Please indicate here the main job responsibilities.

  • Developing, owning, and maintaining the Site Performance Roadmap by:

  • Leading the Strategy Cascading process by working closely with internal (i.e., SLT) and external (i.e., Global Functions) stakeholders, defining site CBN’s

  • Drive internal/external benchmarking & analyses to identify performance gaps/opportunities vs. best in class, socializing it internally and externally with key stakeholders

  • Leading the performance & digital piece during Strat Plan and Budget, defining performance ambition (aligned with CBN’s and GBU objectives), cascaded into financial/operational targets across all performance dimension (e.g., +QDCI, scorecard)

  • Developing a prioritized portfolio of initiatives (i.e., performance + modernization) to deliver site ambition, and related: impact, resourcing and timelines

  • Delivering performance ambition by leading the execution of the Site Performance Roadmap through

  • Focused transformation initiatives (e.g., performance boosters), when fast-paced performance breakthroughs are required

  • Standardization through SMS 2.0 ecosystem deployments enabling continuous improvement (incl. execution support, CI standard deployment, problem solving, OpEx method, etc.)

  • Deployment of Smart Factory solutions (incl. AI) and associated change management to ensure value realization and expected transformation (e.g., Modernization Index)

  • Supplier Excellence: Own the Material & Supplier improvement initiatives (i.e., Supplier Excellence) & business interface of the procurement on site

  • Leading site performance governance by:

  • Manage operational KPI management (i.e., +QDCI) including cascaded reviews from shopfloor to SLT to track performance evolution vs. ambition

  • Drive financial impact of performance actions (e.g., 3P, Sievo) ensuring value is maximized and captured in alignment with Finance, Procurement, Operations

  • Monitor overall performance trajectory vs. ambition, spot early on (risk of) deviations and decide appropriate corrective actions

  • Represent the site in above site performance reviews and forums (e.g., L4-L5)

  • Leading Site SMS team and developing OpEx & Digital capabilities & performance culture

  • Implement Site OpEx & Smart Factory team in alignment with standard organization

  • Modernize OpEx capabilities by developing strong digital (e.g., Data Analytics, AI, Connectivity) profiles

  • Drive OpEx and Digital training in alignment with the learning administrator

  • Develop strong relationships with the global OpEx community and the Global Functions (e.g., Quality, Engineering, etc) for best practices sharing

  • Drive appropriate communication at all levels to promote performance mindset & behaviour

  • Developing, owning, and maintaining the Site Digital Roadmap by:

  • Working in collaboration with Digital, Global Functions, and Business Owners, to define a prioritized portfolio digital projects to deliver business continuity, modernization and performance, including Core models, Smart Factory solutions and local applications

  • Define and manage the associated digital budget (Capex/Opex), and lead all the connected global processes and systems (e.g., SP/budget, business case preparation/approval, Shine, etc.)

  • Lead implementation of IT projects (e.g., iShift, MARS, LIMS, global/local solutions, etc.) by

  • Defining execution approach and master-plan in alignment with key stakeholders

  • Ensuring finding (e.g., Capex/Opex) and line up project team ensuring capacity and capabilities (e.g., Project Mgr, KU’s, SME’s, etc.)

  • Monitoring execution, planning adherence, escalation through appropriate governance

  • Ensuring in place, in use with formal handover to operations

  • Providing first line solution support during operations

  • Lead the deployment of Smart Factory (incl. GenAI) solutions by

  • Driving locally the technical implementation in partnership with Product Owner, and Digital

  • Partnering with Business and OpEx team to ensure adoption and value capture

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting when required

  • Ensure Master Data accuracy by

  • Leading Head of Data & Processes and Data Stewards as per standard organization

  • Driving standard governance to assess MD accuracy and update in collaboration with the concerned functional leads (i.e., Data Content Owners)

  • Provide analytical capabilities to site functions by developing a pool of Data Analysts to be deployed as per business needs (e.g., performance monitoring/deep dives, big data analytics, data visualization/dashboards, etc.)

About you

List here ideally the must-haves criteria to be successful on the role.

  • Experience:

Mature level of proficiency in term of OpEx expertise, digital know-hows. Minimum of 5 years of experience in OpEx management field

  • Soft skill:

Master level of proficiency in strategic thinking, change management, ability to influence and business partnering

  • Technical skill:

Knowledge of main Operational Excellence techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, CI, etc.);

Experience in transformation and change management;

Understanding of data analytics / visualization;

Basics of finance and strategy;

Knowledge of main IT/Digital solutions (e.g., ERP);

Knowledge of Manufacturing 4.0 and AI/GenAI;

Knowledge of key business & pharma processes;

Project Management

  • Education:

Bachelor or above, with major of Pharmaceutical, Engineering, IT or Biology

  • Languages:

Proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing, hold CET6 and above language certificate is preferred
