Main responsibilities:
- Define and implement the IT strategy in line with the bank's business objectives;
- Coordinate and develop IT infrastructure, systems and applications, ensuring their availability and performance;
- Lead and develop IT teams, promoting a culture of performance, collaboration and innovation;
- Ensure the implementation and compliance with information security and business continuity standards;
- Coordinate strategic digital transformation and systems modernisation projects;
- Manage relationships with suppliers, partners and IT service providers;
- Monitor and optimise the IT budget, resources and technology investments;
- Identify and promote opportunities for automation, efficiency improvement and technological innovation.
Candidate requirements:
- University degree in Information Technology or related fields;
- Relevant managerial experience in coordinating IT activities and teams;
- Experience in administering enterprise infrastructure, systems and applications;
- Solid understanding of IT governance principles, information security and risk management;
- Experience in managing IT projects and collaborating with external partners;
- Advanced knowledge of Romanian and English;
- Studies, certifications or knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and IT Systems Architecture is an advantage;
- Experience working with hybrid infrastructures (on-premise and cloud) is an advantage;
- Interest in and familiarity with Responsible AI principles is an advantage;
- Strategic thinking, results orientation and decision-making capability;
- Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills.
