Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Go Developer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating and training next-generation AI coding tools in highly confidential alpha stages. This unique part-time remote opportunity is perfect for high-taste, high-enthusiasm Go developers who thrive on technical exploration and are passionate about advancing the future of AI-powered code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop REST and GraphQL endpoints within a modern Go stack

• Conduct rigorous data validation and comprehensive error handling

• Execute database migrations and performance optimization

• Test and evaluate alpha AI models in Cursor over multiple 4-day, 5+ hour daily bursts

• Identify and document incidents, bugs, and edge cases through detailed reports, bug traces, and annotated screenshots

• Collaborate with the research team via Slack, providing real-time feedback and thoughtful insights

• Complete structured surveys on overall impressions and model usability after each testing burst

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Golang Developer

• Strong command of Go, REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend development best practices

• Proven experience with AI-powered coding tools and ideally with Cursor

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for hands-on coding, rapid prototyping, and technical curiosity

• Experience in data validation, robust error handling, and complex debugging

• Ability to document findings thoroughly without sharing any confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public contributions to open-source projects (e.g., notable GitHub repos/stars)

• Prior experience conducting technical product evaluations or developer tool QA

• Passion for mentoring and sharing insights with high-trust research teams
