Job Description
Within Global Markets Operations (GMO), the Securities division, you will be responsible for the settlement/delivery of all types of securities handled by the various business lines of Natixis CIB, as well as the management of related events (corporate actions) and the reconciliation of securities positions and cash.
Within the Securities Operations division, you will join the team responsible for International Settlement (composed of about a dozen people) which handles all Settlement/Delivery on secondary markets for operations initiated by Front Offices.
Your responsibilities:

Handle operations initiated by traders

Control, monitor and validate operations in the information system

Monitor settlement/delivery of operations on international markets (notably Euroclear Bank, Clearstream Luxembourg)

Report information and issues encountered to relevant departments (trade support, front, accounting…)

Resolve discrepancies identified on operations with counterparties (numerous contacts with counterparties, depositaries, paying agents, …)

Perform necessary reconciliations for activity controls (monitoring of internal and external suspense, as well as positions)

Contribute to various improvements in the information system, be a source of proposals

Contribute to various regulatory reporting

Develop activity monitoring reporting
Qualifications
Profile sought:
Have higher education and knowledge in capital markets finance and have solid experience in post-market operations in the securities industry, ideally knowledge of the Summit application.
Technical skills:
o Good understanding of market activities and products
o Good knowledge of the F/O to B/O processing chain
o Knowledge of securities
o Culture of control and operational risks
o Ability to evolve existing processes with the objective of securing and improving activity reliability
o Good application of company procedures, procedure updates, with escalation to management if necessary
