Job Description
The Technology and Innovation (T&I) area is the engine that enables innovation and efficiency in the organization. Its purpose is to ensure that technology platforms, information systems, and digital services operate safely, scalably, and aligned with business needs. From architectural design to daily operations, T&I ensures continuity, resilience, and technological evolution, driving digital transformation and customer experience.
Purpose of the role:
Lead the technology strategy in Chile, ensuring the integration and evolution of the development, operations, and T&I services areas, with a focus on innovation, resilience, compliance with regional and global architecture and security standards, and regulatory compliance. This role is key to driving business initiatives, including Open Banking, and opening new business units according to market requirements, among others, and the adoption of cloud architectures (AWS) ensuring the security and scalability of technology platforms.
Deliverables:
- Budget for the area in Chile for each year and strategic plan.
- Plans for compliance with product roadmap and projects.
- KPIs and OKRs of the operation including; Availability, security metrics, and productivity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Define and execute local technology strategy aligned with regional and global vision, and business needs.
- Lead development, operations, and services teams, promoting collaboration, technical excellence, and alignment with architecture and security standards.
- Lead jointly with the product team the implementation of business initiatives, including Open Banking, according to market requirements.
- Drive cloud adoption and migration, optimizing costs, scalability, and resilience.
- Ensure availability, security, and continuity of technology platforms, ensuring teamwork with corresponding regional and global areas.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, security standards, architecture governance, and corporate policies.
- Manage budgets, vendors, and technology contracts.
- Promote agile practices, DevOps, and automation to accelerate value delivery.
- Lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives that generate business impact.
- Support AI initiatives in the country's operations.
Required Technical Knowledge
- Mastery of AWS Cloud (architecture, security, cost optimization).
- Enterprise architecture and scalable solution design.
- Advanced cybersecurity and risk management.
- Agile methodologies, DevOps, and automation.
- IT governance and business continuity management.
- Experience in Open Banking, APIs, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Education: Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields. Postgraduate degree in Technology Management or MBA desirable.
Experience: +10 years in technology areas, with at least 5 in leadership positions. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams (development, architecture, security, operations). Deep knowledge in Open Banking, cloud computing (AWS), distributed architectures, cybersecurity, DevOps, and ITIL.
