Direct Support Professional

Full‑Time | Princess Anne, Pocomoke & Salisbury, MD

Hourly Wage: $20.00

Schedule: 3‑Day or 4-Day work week 4 pm to 8 am

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living skills and shared responsibility for all clients in the house. The weekly work schedule consists of 3-4 overnight shifts including a Saturday or Sunday

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist and support residential clients in all aspects of daily living skills.
  • Support member’s healthcare needs and follow-up care.
  • Maintain the residence providing a safe and clean environment.
  • Positive role modeling and ensuring communication is respectful and culturally appropriate.
  • Complete schedules, notes, and shift logs in the EHR.
  • Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A minimum of one to two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders is preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, maintain professional boundaries, and support recovery‑oriented care.
