Job Description
The Systems Engineering sub-management has the purpose of developing the applications and services that customers request from us and, in the same way, developing new solutions that we as an organization need to provide to our customers.
Purpose of the role:
Responsible for managing and implementing IT projects for the organization and providing support in production environments to meet the various customer requirements.
Deliverables:
- Contribute to proper project evaluation and planning, as well as correct resource allocation.
- Develop reliable and secure applications.
- Generate the least number of iterations in QA and deliver a quality product
- Maintain updated applications, changes organized and managed through the change manager
- Ensure operational continuity and SLA of the organization's services
- Contribute to generating solutions to IT issues required by the organization.
- Ensure continuity and support for production applications.
- Contribute to the management and results of the area
Role Responsibilities:
- Participate in the evaluation of timelines for projects that will be assigned within the area, facilitating the assignment of roles and tasks to participants by Project Managers.
- Gather and analyze requirements associated with the project, translating them into natural language, eliminating any ambiguity, and documenting them according to the standards defined in the organization.
- Carry out application development based on the standards defined by the Sinacofi areas in terms of objects, architecture, and security.
- Continuously maintain and optimize internal and external applications based on best practices, updating documentation for each new requirement and basic testing of included improvements
- Provide support to production areas: assisting with application deployments to production, solving specific problems and/or reported incidents, performing problem analysis to propose or execute the best solution
- Investigate and deliver solutions for various issues that arise in developments
- Provide support in different technical IT solutions by forming work groups and finding feasible alternatives to provide solutions.
- Deliver the necessary information to perform a complete handover of IT solutions developed to the corrective maintenance area.
- Assume the role of technical lead for IT solutions developed in the area or with external companies.

Qualifications
- Education: Computer Science Engineer or related degree.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the field and at least 1 year in a similar role.
Required Technical Knowledge:
- Control-M
- Analysis and design of IT solutions
- Programming Languages: shell script, .NET (C#, Visual Basic, ASP), Java (Netbeans, Eclipse).
- Development of WS JSON, API REST, and SOAP.
- Development of workflows in Control-M
- Operating systems UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS
- Relational databases: Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
- WebServices development on Service BUS platforms such as IBM Broker or similar
- Development in IBM Datapower (optional)
- ETL Tools Power Center, DataStage, or similar
- Agile Methodology with Scrum
