About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / Data Architect to join our team on a contract basis. This role will focus on building and optimizing custom HubSpot integrations while owning the end-to-end data flow process across our systems. The ideal candidate is both a strategic advisor and a hands-on implementer, with deep experience in designing data architectures that leverage modern cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across multiple platforms, with a strong emphasis on HubSpot integrations.

  • Act as a strategic partner, advising the team on optimal data architectures, software capabilities, and best practices for structuring and managing data.

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to ensure accuracy, scalability, and reliability of data flow.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design technical solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes, governance, and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and pipeline issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in data architecture and engineering, ideally with HubSpot API/custom integration experience.

  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc.

  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort with scripting languages (e.g., Python).

  • Solid grasp of relational data modeling, APIs, and integration design.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise on strategic technical decisions.
