Because you already have at least 1.5 years of experience, we can bring you up to speed on everything during the 12-month traineeship. In these months you'll learn how to truly make a difference for customers: by making them work smarter, more efficiently, and more independently. You'll help build solutions that not only work today, but remain valuable tomorrow. And that leads to plenty of success moments. For our (14,000+!) customers, for our organization, and for yourself.
Your development comes first. Because everyone benefits from it. Us, because you and your colleagues make our company, and our customers, who receive the best support as a result. You also have the freedom to make the challenge as big as you want. We even appreciate that. And we'll help you along the way. So that in 12 months you can work as a full-fledged software consultant.
Sounds good, but how do we achieve that?
No stress: we won't test you on content beforehand. We'll bring you up to speed on our software during the traineeship. What's much more important: that you have the drive to grow and we provide the ideal environment for that with our culture. And that's sure to lead to success!
Phase 1
In the first phase you'll get to know our software, our company, and our customers. In theory and plenty in practice. You'll spend an average of half a day per week on training and education. And the rest of the time you'll work in our support department. There you'll help our customers. With impact. To give you an example: every month 3.4 million payslips are created with AFAS. Who are those customers? The major accounting firms, universities, hospitals: all AFAS.
Phase 2
During this period you'll work hard on your consultancy skills. Your training will focus on your consultancy skills and deepening your knowledge of the software. You'll also work on creating a consultancy case. You'll also rotate through our service management department, where you'll help our customers with all kinds of questions about our software.
Phase 3
During the final phase of the traineeship you'll shadow experienced consultants and observe implementations. You'll also start working on projects with customers yourself. You'll also teach courses to our customers about the software. After this you'll be all set to go out into the field. We'll then ensure a smooth transition to the external service team.

And once I've completed that traineeship?
We already love your energy! Then you'll be a full consultant. You'll support our customers with major challenges. With both solicited and unsolicited advice. You'll ensure that our customers can work well with the software and are happy to share your knowledge, with the goal that they can continue on their own afterwards. You'll be in charge with all your acquired consultancy skills. You'll represent what we stand for. Indeed: you'll then be an inspiration yourself.
