Consultancy Traineeship

4 x 8hr days100% payHybrid · Leusden, Netherlands

How you grow into a full-fledged consultant

As a consultant at AFAS, you provide independent advice to clients and help them streamline their processes. This requires subject matter expertise, insight into business processes, and strong advisory skills.

That's why you start with the Consultancy Traineeship. During this period, you learn step by step how our software and processes work in practice and how to use that knowledge to truly help clients move forward.

As a trainee, you support clients with questions, think along about processes, and help organizations make optimal use of AFAS software. You dive into the content, but you're never alone. You work together with colleagues, such as consultants, product specialists, and developers. This way you get guidance where needed and freedom where possible.

Phase 1

  • You take on client questions and learn to set priorities.
  • You get to know AFAS, our software, and our clients.
  • You work in practice and follow targeted training, both for the software and for soft skills.
  • You learn how to provide advice and align expectations.

Phase 2

  • Your knowledge grows and you think at a higher level about client questions.
  • You deepen your involvement in consultancy projects and practice with implementation challenges.
  • You take on increasingly more responsibility.
  • You present ideas and learn to substantiate choices.

How you help our clients move forward

After the traineeship, you work as a consultant with clients on implementing and improving their processes. You tackle complex challenges, conduct conversations with clients, and translate wishes into solutions that work in practice.

You share your knowledge with clients and colleagues. And yes, you keep learning, growing, and making an impact.

The traineeship focuses on consultancy, but with the knowledge and experience you gain here, you could also work as a First Class specialist, service manager, or product specialist.

The week of a consultancy trainee

And when I've completed that traineeship?

We already love your energy! Then you become a full-fledged consultant. You'll support our clients with major challenges. With both solicited and unsolicited advice. You ensure that our clients can work well with the software and are happy to share your knowledge. You're then ready with all your acquired consultancy skills. You represent what we stand for. Indeed: you then become an inspiration yourself.
