micro1 is engaging Certified Public Accountants (India) to contribute to a customer’s project focused on US tax compliance and legal interpretation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work:

  1. Analyze, interpret, and annotate sections of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and related US Treasury Regulations, emphasizing nuanced statutory language and exceptions.
  2. Review and assess a variety of US tax legal documents, ensuring clarity, technical accuracy, and proper application of statutory rules.
  3. Evaluate and provide expertise on individual tax returns (Form 1040) in the context of current IRS guidance and regulations.
  4. Draft summaries or explanatory notes that clarify complex tax law concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or potential areas of confusion within legal documents or IRS source materials.
  6. Collaborate via digital platforms, delivering high-quality written content and clear verbal communication on findings and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Active Certified Public Accountant (India) qualification with demonstrable expertise in US tax law.
  2. Deep familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), US Treasury Regulations, and IRS compliance requirements.
  3. Strong background in analyzing and interpreting legal documents, statutes, and tax-related materials.
  4. Proven experience reviewing or preparing US individual tax returns (Form 1040).
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for translating technical legal language into clear explanations.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and articulate statutory exceptions and regulatory nuances.
  7. Interest in contributing to innovative projects at the intersection of finance, law, and technology.
