Job Description
As part of the development of a next-generation medical device dedicated to robotic surgery and brain navigation technologies, we are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to strengthen an agile R&D team and participate in a project with high clinical impact.
Integrated into a Software (R&D) team organized in Scrum mode, you will contribute to the software development of an innovative solution in the world of medical devices.
Your missions:
- Participate in the development and maintenance of Backend features in C++17/C++20 in a Linux environment.
- Design, develop, and evolve a robust software architecture by applying OOP, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Code best practices.
- Contribute to architectural choices and technical reflections on issues of performance, maintainability, and software scalability.
- Develop critical software components related to medical robotics, medical imaging, and surgical navigation systems.
- Perform unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in test automation and the continuous improvement of software quality and continuous integration (CI/CD) processes.
- Perform code reviews and actively contribute to improving development standards.
- Collaborate with Product, System, Validation, and Quality teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Write, maintain, and evolve the technical documentation associated with developments.
- Participate, according to project needs, in the development of user interfaces in Angular 19+.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ software development
Excellent mastery of:
- Modern C++ (C++17 / C++20)
- Software architecture
- Object-oriented programming
- Design Patterns
- Git
- Unit testing
- Agile / Scrum methodologies
Experience in demanding environments:
- Critical software
- Embedded software
- Regulated industry
