Job Description
Basic Requirements
- College degree or higher in medicine, pharmacy, or a related field;
- Mastery of knowledge regarding the pharmacology, toxicology, indications, combination therapies, adverse reactions, contraindications, and precautions of the promoted drugs;
- Must pass company training and assessments;
- Must not be subject to any legal or regulatory prohibitions against working as a pharmaceutical representative.
- Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with line managers and relevant teams to develop and execute academic promotion plans based on regional and customer needs;
- Reasonably arrange customer visits, academic exchanges, and related promotional activities;
- Regularly review work progress and continuously optimize work plans and execution results.
- Academic Promotion & Customer Engagement
Conduct academic promotion activities in accordance with the "Administrative Measures for Pharmaceutical Representatives," primarily including the following to key healthcare institution personnel:
- Conveying drug-related information;
- Communicating and assisting in the rational use of drugs;
- Collecting and providing feedback on clinical drug usage, adverse drug reactions, and clinical needs;
- Conducting professional customer visits, academic exchanges, and disease education activities to support healthcare professionals' understanding and awareness of products and disease areas.
- Facilitating channel coverage and smooth business operations by conveying drug-related information to healthcare professionals and providing professional communication and academic support to assist in the rational use of drugs in medical institutions.
- Insight Generation & Feedback
- Establish and maintain professional communication channels with healthcare professionals;
- Understand customer academic needs, clinical practice requirements, and market dynamics;
- Timely collect, analyze, and provide feedback on customer opinions, market information, and business-related insights;
- Provide support for academic promotion activities and business decision-making.
- Collaboration & Resource Coordination
- Maintain close cooperation with marketing, medical, commercial, and other relevant teams to jointly support the implementation of academic promotion activities;
- Participate in the organization and execution of academic conferences, professional projects, and related activities;
- Proactively share experiences and best practices to promote team collaboration and mutual growth.
- Professional Development & Compliance
- Continuously improve product knowledge, disease area knowledge, and professional promotion capabilities;
- Convey drug-related information truthfully and accurately, ensuring the scientific nature and accuracy of academic promotion content;
- Develop academic promotion activity plans and manage activity budgets based on reasonable business needs and company regulations, ensuring that meetings are authentic, reasonable, and compliant with policy requirements;
- Complete all required company training and competency certifications.
Strictly comply with national laws and regulations (including but not limited to the "Administrative Measures for Pharmaceutical Representatives") and all company policy requirements.
