Assertive Community Treatment Team Leader- Full‑Time

Location: Salisbury, MD

Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 annually

Schedule: 4‑day, 36-hour work week — Monday through Thursday

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the effective working of the ACT team for interviewing, developing, scheduling, training, and day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and maintain a team of mental health staff.
  • Provide assertive community treatment to people recovering from severe mental illness who have not responded favorably to prior, more traditional services.
  • Familiar with ACT evidence-based practice (EBP) standards and meeting them.
  • Training and supervising an effective employee team to provide ACT services.
  • Developing an internal ACT on-call system to provide 24/7 coverage.
  • Assuring client assessment, intake, and plans of care, medication reviews, notes, and all other documents are completed as required by DACTS.
  • Coordinating treatment and stabilization with Go-Getters teams and with community service providers.
  • Ensure that employees have a safe environment in which to work.
  • Complete DLAs and request authorizations through Incedo.
  • Facilitate a daily team meeting to review all members on caseload and develop workable strategies for their treatment.
  • Using electronic medical records, input data and following through seeing services to their completion.
  • Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned by ACT Vice President.

Qualifications

  • Formal training equivalent to a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a similar field. Clinical supervisory experience desired. Qualifies as a licensed Mental Health Professional.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid full driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Three years' direct supervisory experience, including teamwork and program development.
  • Meet credentialing and privileging requirements as set out in Policy and Procedures
