AI Software Engineer

We are looking for an AI-Driven Software Engineer: a strong medior or senior .NET developer with architectural knowledge and a huge curiosity about AI. Someone who shows initiative, radiates confidence, and knows how to get colleagues & customers on board with the possibilities of LLMs and custom-trained AI models.

In this role, you are our AI pioneer: you don't just help with development, but play a key role in exploring, prototyping, and integrating AI solutions into our products. You are the one who quickly translates ideas into concrete, testable solutions – and knows how to talk about them enthusiastically.

What will you do? As an AI Software Engineer, you are a driving force within our development teams. You will work within two teams; partly from a record development team consisting of 3 to 7 people with a PO, developers, and a Quality Engineer, and partly from an innovation team consisting of 4-5 people with a Product Owner, customer contact, UX Design, AI Software Engineer, and a .NET Software Engineer. The focus is on try fast & fail fast!

You work in 2-week sprints according to agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Our teams strive for CI/CD: as soon as an item is developed, tested, and approved, it goes directly to production. In addition to converting functional stories into well-functioning code, you are responsible for technical design, system quality, and compliance with organizational standards. You safeguard architecture and help your team move forward. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Implementing AI solutions within our products and taking the lead in this;

  • Participating in the .NET development of our products;

  • Building fast-working AI prototypes: from idea to demo in days, not weeks;

  • Researching and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs);

  • Making architectural choices and translating them into smart software solutions;

  • Inspiring, challenging, and engaging colleagues & customers with AI concepts;

  • Helping to strengthen the team from your expert AI role.

Your experience

We believe you will be successful when you possess the following qualities:

  • You have several years of experience as a .NET Software Engineer;

  • You have experience with implementing LLMs and/or training AI models, and are very enthusiastic about the possibilities of AI;

  • You have extensive knowledge of .NET, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes;

  • You understand SaaS architecture and have a sharp insight into market needs and customer wishes;

  • Enthusiasm for AI, LLMs, and new technology;

  • Skill in rapid prototyping and experimentation;

  • Strong communication skills – you know how to convey ideas;

  • Self-starting, eager to learn, and someone who shows initiative;

  • An appearance that conveys confidence and craftsmanship.
