At Sage, our AI & Automation Associates play an important role in transforming the way we work by helping to build simple, scalable, and effective automation solutions. Working within our Design → Build → Govern model, you'll support the creation of low-code workflows and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, automation, and artificial intelligence and is looking to develop their technical skills through hands-on experience, structured learning, and mentorship from experienced Developers and Solution Designers.

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in automation, AI, and business systems, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with low-code automation tools, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms will be advantageous. Most importantly, you'll have a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a passion for building innovative solutions that make a real impact.

𝐃𝐚𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Support the build and maintenance of low-code automation solutions from approved designs, ensuring accuracy, simplicity, and measurable business value. • Assist in the configuration of Salesforce-connected workflows, including triggers, routing logic, data updates, and integrations. • Contribute to the development of AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions. • Collaborate closely with Solution Designers, Developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. • Support testing and release-readiness activities to ensure solutions are stable, compliant, and ready for deployment. • Document configurations, build activities, and implementation details to support governance and ongoing improvements.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝟗𝟎 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭: • You'll be introduced to Sage's Design → Build → Govern framework, automation standards, and development best practices. • Learn how to build, test, and maintain low-code workflows and AI-enabled solutions with support from experienced colleagues. • Gain exposure to Salesforce-connected automation and integration processes. • Participate in structured learning, coaching sessions, and practical project work to develop your technical capability and confidence. • Begin contributing to automation projects while learning troubleshooting, governance, and support processes.

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡: • You'll join a collaborative team of Solution Designers, Developers, and Automation Specialists focused on driving operational efficiency through technology and innovation. • You'll work closely with business stakeholders and colleagues across multiple teams to understand challenges and deliver impactful automation solutions. • You'll receive ongoing support, coaching, and mentorship from experienced technical professionals as you develop your skills and career within Sage.

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: • A strong interest in automation, artificial intelligence, technology, or business systems, with a desire to build technical expertise. • Understanding of process logic and how workflows can improve business operations and efficiency. • Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM systems will be advantageous. • Exposure to low-code automation platforms such as Power Automate or similar tools • Strong attention to detail, particularly when testing, documenting, and configuring solutions. • Excellent problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮: • Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year. • Life Insurance: 2x annual salary covered with the option to flex up cover at own cost up to a maximum of 6X annual salary. • Income Protection: 75% of the monthly risk salary is paid to the colleague in the event of long-term sickness, provided they are unable to perform their duties. • Critical Illness cover: Provides colleague with lump sum payment at critical illness diagnosis. • Funeral Assistance: A benefit payable upon the death of a colleague's spouse or children, or to a colleague's dependents in the event of the colleague's death. • Provident fund: a retirement fund where colleagues have an option to increase contributions of 5% minimum to a maximum of 15% in 2.5% increments. • Medical aid subsidy: Discovery and Bonitas are offered on selected plans, colleagues receive R2,760 pm. • Sage Academy leave: On-going training and professional development + 5 paid days per year to engage in learning opportunities. • 15 days annual leave for fixed term colleagues and 20 annual leave days for permanent colleagues.
