What you'll do
- Properly follow up on inbound and self-sourced prospects and close deals
- Identify new deal opportunities from existing customers and drive upsells
- Continuously work on improving the sales process
- Perform other related tasks as determined by the company from time to time
This role requires
• 5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably with 2+ years of SaaS sales experience
• Challenger sales skills to make proactive proposals to customers and internally (excluding inside sales)
• High interest in new industries and new technologies
• Ability to conduct sales activities regardless of industry
• Experience managing accounts across dozens of companies and multiple industries, rather than a specific number of accounts
• Proficiency in team selling, particularly collaboration with engineers in pre-sales
• A hard worker who thinks on their feet rather than overthinking
• Technical or middleware background with basic understanding of infrastructure, software trends, and general SaaS sales movements; experience with business tools such as SFDC, Slack, PowerPoint, and Zoom is welcome
