wirkt. is a Vienna-based social enterprise focused on social innovation — running and supporting projects from labour-market integration of refugees to women's empowerment and social tutoring.

What is the wirkt. team like?
Around 20 people (about half of them full-time) working on socially-focused programmes.
Work-Life Balance
wirkt. has run a 4-day week since 2023: full-time is 36 hours over Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off for everyone, at full salary. The organisation first introduced a 4-day week in 2020 and has since more than doubled both revenue and headcount.
