About Rithum
What is Rithum?
Rithum describes itself as "the world's most trusted commerce network, accelerating how brands, suppliers, and retailers work together to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences." The company is precise about its own lineage: "Founded in 1997 as CommerceHub, we began by providing ecommerce data and business process integration services", and "In 2022, the two companies joined forces and then rebranded as Rithum at the end of 2023" — the other company being ChannelAdvisor. It is "now a single company delivering end-to-end platform and network solutions" for "brands, retailers, and suppliers". Its job postings say "more than 40,000 companies trust Rithum" across "hundreds of channels", covering marketplace listings, inventory and order management, shipping optimisation and retail media advertising.
Where will I work?
Rithum lists "Remote-first work environment" as the first item in its Total Rewards programme, and open roles are advertised as remote across the United States, the United Kingdom and Spain, with the occasional hybrid role in the Dallas area. Offices exist but are not the default: the contact page lists a global headquarters in Plano, Texas, an EMEA headquarters in London, plus Dublin, Madrid and Melbourne. It hires, in its own words, "no matter where they live."
What is the Rithum team like?
Four published values shape the culture: Clients first, Own the outcome, Be a great teammate, and Do what's right. The teammate value reads "We're stronger together. We support and empower one another, celebrating wins and tackling challenges as a team", while Do what's right means acting "with integrity, even when no one is watching." New joiners are told to expect "smart risk-takers, courageous collaborators, and curious minds", working under "a transparent culture and accessible, approachable leadership." Hiring runs six published steps, from a recruiter conversation through team interviews and a functional exercise to a decision.
Work-Life Balance
Rithum publishes no reduced-hours or compressed schedule, and no four-day week appears anywhere on its site or job board. It does name work-life balance directly: employees "Achieve work-life balance through remote-first working conditions, generous time off, and wellness days", and the careers page cites "focused wellness, support, and employee-led groups." Time off is generous but counted, and it differs by region. US postings list "20 days of Paid Time Off, 9 Company-Paid holidays, 2 paid floating holidays, 7 paid sick days, 2 Wellness days, and 1 Paid Volunteer Day; at 3 years of service PTO increases to 22 days, and at 5 years it increases to 25 days." UK postings list "25 Days of PTO, 8 Company-paid Holidays, 2 paid floating holidays, 10 paid sick days, 2 Wellness days and 1 Paid Volunteer Day." Sick days sit outside the PTO allowance in both.
