About Homerun
What is Homerun?
Homerun is an Amsterdam-based HR software company building hiring and people-management tools for small and medium-sized businesses. Founded in 2015 — by a team of designers — Homerun started with a simple insight: every company has its own unique culture and story, yet most job posts look the same. Their first product changed that by giving teams a visual way to create job posts and career pages that truly reflect who they are.
From there, Homerun built an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for those same teams to organise their hiring and create a great experience for candidates. In 2025, the company introduced Homerun HR — a full-suite HR platform launched after the merger with British employee-management company Staff Squared. Homerun was also acquired by ISH Holding, elevating the group's position in the B2B SaaS recruitment sector.
Today, Homerun serves around 1,400 customers — small and medium-sized businesses across Europe and beyond — through its 30+ person team distributed across 3 European offices.
Where will I work?
Homerun's main office is in the very heart of Amsterdam. The team is hybrid: people based in Amsterdam work out of the office at least 3 days per week, and the rest of the team works remotely across Europe. Importantly, Homerun only hires people legally allowed to work in the EU or UK and cannot sponsor visas for any country other than the Netherlands.
What is the Homerun team like?
Homerun is a small team — around 30 people — with a big impact. The entire team, from customer support to engineering, works together closely to ship products that improve the everyday life of the teams using them. Three values anchor the culture: Human Touch (products built around what matters most — people), Creativity (founded by designers; tools that help customers improve the way they work every day), and Team Sport (work best when everyone works together — open ownership instead of fixed bureaucratic roles).
Diversity and inclusion are explicit values: Homerun has published a guide on D&I in the workplace and welcomes applicants regardless of background, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or age.
Work-Life Balance
Homerun switched to a 4-day work week in 2022 — 32 hours at 100% salary, with employees choosing between Monday, Wednesday, or Friday as their day off. On top of that, the team offers a workation policy for working from somewhere other than home or the office, plus the standard Dutch holiday allowance.
