About HealthPost
What is HealthPost?
HealthPost is a New Zealand-owned online retailer of natural health, clean beauty, healthy food & drink, and eco-living products. Founded in Mohua / Golden Bay in 1988, the company has been delivering wellness for 37 years and now ships New Zealand's largest range of natural health products from its Tasman warehouse to doorsteps across Aotearoa and around the world.
The business holds B Corp certification and is Zero Carbon certified with Ekos — credentials reflected throughout how the company sources, packs and ships. Every new product is checked by HealthPost's in-house naturopaths against the company's Ethical by Nature Promise and Mindful Values (Mindful of people, mindfully transparent, mindful materials, mindful of nature) before it makes it onto the catalogue.
Where will I work?
HealthPost is headquartered in Mohua / Golden Bay (Collingwood, Tasman, New Zealand) — and is the largest employer in its small rural community. The team of 100+ "passionate people" packs more than 6,000 customer orders per week from the Golden Bay warehouse, and the business explicitly hires for people living in Golden Bay.
What is the HealthPost team like?
CEO Abel Butler describes the company's purpose as helping customers "live naturally healthy lives." Values Lead Lucy Butler frames it as "healthier choices in a truly holistic way – for you, your family, our community, & the planet." The team has a strong conservation arm: HealthPost has planted 17,000+ native trees in Golden Bay, runs a 3-hectare predator-proof Ecosanctuary for threatened species in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Manawhenua ki Mohua, and has donated $808,812 since 2017 through the HealthPost Nature Trust plus more than $1 million since 2009 to other community causes. The family-run business has been profiled on New Zealand's Country Calendar.
Work-Life Balance
HealthPost positions itself publicly as an ethical employer with a wellbeing-first culture, but the careers page does not currently publish detailed working-hours or schedule information. Roles are open to people living in Golden Bay, and the company welcomes CVs for future consideration at [email protected].
Perks and Benefits
Publicly verifiable benefits centre on the company's mission and community impact rather than itemised perks: a wellbeing-aligned culture grounded in B Corp values, paid involvement in the HealthPost Nature Trust conservation work, naturopath / nutritionist / eco-enthusiast expert mentorship, and home-office support. Specific dollar amounts on stipends, leave or healthcare are not currently disclosed on the careers page.
