Who we are
Daltix is a retail data intelligence company on a mission to deliver "quality retail data you can trust." Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Ghent, Belgium (Ottergemsesteenweg-Zuid 808, 9000 Gent — company registration BE0661.713.511), the team — known internally as "the Daltons" — has built a solid customer base spanning some of Europe's most demanding retailers and consumer brands: Colruyt Group, GfK, Unilever, Danone, Coca-Cola European Partners, REWE Lieferservice, Flaschenpost, Iglo, Spadel, and Rayon.

What we do
Daltix builds the data infrastructure behind retail decision-making. The platform delivers four core data products: comprehensive price data and competitive monitoring; a promotion database tracking timing and discount analysis; product specifications and benchmarking; and location-specific regional pricing data.
Two flagship tools sit on top of that foundation:
- DaltixMatching — an interactive product-matching tool using deep learning, automated EAN matching, and side-by-side comparison
- A³ Tool (Automated Assortment Analysis) — helps retailers "Plan Categories 12× Faster and 5× Cheaper" by identifying market gaps and optimising offerings
The technical stack is modern and cloud-native: AWS, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and Looker, with Python on the data side and JavaScript for scraping and web development.
Where will I work?
Daltix operates from three offices across two countries. In Belgium, the team works from the main Ghent office or the MeetDistrict location in Antwerp. In Portugal, the Lisbon office sits in Sitio Fintech House at Avenida Duque de Loulé 12. Most roles support remote-friendly work — the team is trusted to "know your schedule and work when and where you feel most productive."
How we work — the four-day option
Rather than mandate a uniform schedule, Daltix offers a flexible four-day week as an opt-in arrangement under its "Flexible hours & work location" perk. As the careers page explains: "Need to work 4 days out of the week? Feel best working from home most days and visit the office once in a while? That's possible!" The flexibility extends to where you work, when you work, and how you structure your week.
Hiring process
Daltix uses a four-step hiring process:
- Getting to know you — a 45-minute video call to establish mutual fit
- Prepare to shine — a take-home challenge to demonstrate expertise outside of textbook questions
- Show off and meet the Daltons — a 60-minute session where several team members review your solution
- Meet the CEO — a final 45-minute interview to ensure values and drivers are aligned
