This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Student Outreach Assistant positions for the KidSpirit Program in the Division of Extension and Engagement at Oregon State University (OSU).

The mission of KidSpirit is to be a leader in providing young people with intentional, high-quality, equitable learning experiences that promote positive interactions among adults and peers.

The Youth Program Instructor (Special Events / School Year Day Camp/ Community Events/ Birthday Parties) is responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction to youth while fostering a safe, supportive, and growth‑oriented environment. The position requires strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, safety response, equipment management, program promotion, and effective collaboration with staff, families, and supervisors. KidSpirit prides itself in challenging its employees to grow as individual’s while gaining professional experience. Special events staff include staff that work in gymnastics and aquatics.
