Job Description
- Lead the migration of Java 8 applications to Java 17/21.
- Analyze technical impacts, define the modernization strategy, and establish associated best practices.
- Design and implement necessary changes: refactoring, framework updates, code optimization.
- Provide technical support to developers: code reviews, pair programming, coaching.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Development, and Product teams to ensure technical consistency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and software quality.
- Manage technical documentation related to changes and architectural choices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in modern Java versions (Java 11/17/21) and migration from Java 8.
- Very good knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with CI/CD environments (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Good understanding of distributed architectures and development best practices.
- Technical leadership, rigor, autonomy, and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Proficiency in English.
