Job Description
- Lead the migration of Java 8 applications to Java 17/21.
- Analyze technical impacts, define modernization strategy and associated best practices.
- Design and implement necessary improvements: refactoring, framework updates, code optimization.
- Provide technical support to developers: code review, pair programming, coaching.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Development and Product teams to ensure technical consistency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and software quality.
- Ensure technical documentation related to improvements and architecture decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Java development
- Mastery of modern Java versions (Java 11/17/21) and migration from Java 8.
- Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with CI/CD environments (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps…).
- Good understanding of distributed architectures and software development best practices.
- Technical leadership, rigor, autonomy and ability to challenge the status quo.
- English proficiency.
