micro1 is engaging Tamang Language Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on complex language-related tasks. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is best suited for bilingual Tamang-English professionals eager to make a significant impact through advanced linguistic contributions. Participants will be expected to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week, working with multimedia materials and performing nuanced language analysis.

Scope of Work

  1. Transcribe Tamang-language video content accurately, ensuring all timestamps are clearly marked.
  2. Analyze and describe the emotional undertones and expressivity of speakers featured in video materials.
  3. Conduct detailed grammar, syntax, and tone assessments of spoken Tamang in multimedia content.
  4. Provide conceptual definitions and explanations of unique words, idioms, and expressions encountered.
  5. Edit, review, and refine language data for clarity, consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
  6. Complete advanced language tasks as assigned, supporting diverse data annotation and analysis initiatives.
  7. Collaborate remotely and adhere to deliverable expectations throughout the project duration.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Native or near-native fluency in Tamang, with professional-level command of English.
  2. Demonstrated experience in translation, linguistic analysis, or professional editing involving Tamang and English.
  3. Strong written communication skills with keen attention to detail in capturing nuanced meanings and context.
  4. Proven ability to analyze emotion, tone, and speaker intent in natural language materials.
  5. Experience working with audio or video transcription, preferably in a bilingual context.
  6. Capability to convey complex conceptual information clearly and concisely.
  7. Self-motivated, organized, and able to deliver high-quality work independently in a remote setting.
