The Strategic Healthcare Project Manager (SHPM) within under the Oncology Business Unit will play a critical role in the delivery of our business aspiration and will sit within the Healthcare Franchise. This is a great opportunity for an experienced project manager to support the delivery of the current and future oncology commercial access and optimization goals of the BU. The role will be responsible for delivering strategic innovation projects identified by the business and overseeing the management of the Oncology Healthcare Franchise delivery of external projects; working closely to align our team with cross-functional experts across the business. The Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring projects are managed and delivered in an effective way to achieve set objectives and key results. The role will include managing the complexity of multiple projects with various deliverables over time. Reporting to the Healthcare Franchise Lead, the SHPM will work to support the team by providing exceptional project management skills that enable the business to deliver our commercial access and optimization goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-create and deliver strategically identified innovation projects of national relevance/ test and learn pilots (e.g. quality projects, pathway coordinators engagement, data managers & other supporting functions)
- Preparing organization for future indications through ecosystem & pathway readiness & patients access programs (PAPs). Ensure appropriate processes in place for strong project delivery from Healthcare Franchise and incorporate insight into L3 marketing framework across different Franchises
- Provide project leadership & management to ensure the timely and successful delivery of initiatives. Working closely with external partners and looking for investment opportunities and acceleration of AI-driven solutions
- Communicate and align activities with any external partners supporting the delivery of projects. Where external support is required, the project manager will work with the relevant members of the team to procure capabilities required, and ensuring the correct processes and procedures are followed to remain compliant with external partners.
- Manage and maintain the overall project plan for National projects and schedule across the Healthcare Franchise to ensure external projects are delivered effectively
- Healthcare event management according to financial budget to ensure high stakeholders’ engagement (showcases)
- Work with internal cross-functional stakeholders (including priorities of Global Sustainable Access Solutions Team) to ensure the relevant internal and experts are involved and engaged in projects to enable optimal delivery of objectives and key results. Liaise with appropriate local, regional, and global teams to share best practice
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor or Master Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a Life Sciences discipline.
- Experience in working in oncology and/or brand launch (minimum 2 years).
- Experience in developing customer relationships at the Scientific Leader level (minimum 5 years).
- Expertise in managing projects using a variety of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PRiSM, PMP).
- Strategic thinking skills – ability to execute a strategic business plan and identify opportunities that add value.
- Fluency in Polish and English: excellent communication and presentation skills in both languages, allowing for seamless local execution and active sharing of best practices with global teams.
- Strong skills in managing the complexity of projects across the short and long term, prioritizing appropriately.

- Experience in Clinical Pathway Optimization: Hands-on experience in mapping patient journeys, identifying diagnostic/treatment bottlenecks, or executing initiatives within polish hospitals.
- Deep Knowledge of the Polish Oncology Landscape: A strong understanding of the Polish healthcare system, hospital structures, and upcoming systemic changes such as the National Oncological Network (Krajowa Sieć Onkologiczna - KSO).
