About this role
The Workflow Efficiency team owns the core workflow experience for 100,000s of Ironclad users, from attorneys to procurement specialists. This team helps users move contracts through the process with speed, clarity, and control. Specifically, the team builds the systems and UI for workflow roles and assignments, approvals, notifications, workflow activity and intelligence, document and signature-packet actions, and the underlying data that makes approval history, cycle time, and process performance trustworthy. The team’s northstar metric is reducing the time it takes for a contract to go from intake to signature.
We are looking for a Sr. Staff Product Manager to help lead this critical product area. You will own strategy and execution across some of Ironclad’s most consequential workflow problems: making approval state reliable, helping users understand who needs to do what and when, reducing unnecessary administrative work, and enabling business users to work autonomously within appropriate guardrails.
This is a high-impact role for a product leader who can move comfortably between customer discovery, product strategy, detailed requirements, technical architecture, and cross-functional execution. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, AI, Legal experts, Customer Success, Sales, and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
-
Own the strategy and the quality. Create the product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for major Workflow Efficiency initiatives.
-
Evolve workflow capabilities. Lead the evolution of workflow roles, tasks, assignments, and approval state into a reliable foundation for customer-facing functionality, reporting, and AI-powered experiences.
-
Expand AI functionality. Design and build AI agents to streamline workflow execution and reduce the need for human approvals and reviews
-
Build and ideate on front-end user experiences. Enable Ironclad users to efficiently track the work they need to complete throughout the contracting lifecycle. Define experiences that help users understand dependencies, track internal turns, and identify what is blocking a contract from moving forward.
-
Focus on data quality. Make workflow activity and intelligence more actionable by surfacing the context users need to take the next step without leaving their flow of work. Improve approval data accuracy and explainability so customers can trust approval history, cycle-time metrics, and the status of work in flight.
-
Lead through influence. Make consequential technical calls and align engineering, design, data, executives, and partners around clear decisions and accountable execution.
Qualifications
-
7+ years of product management experience, including several years of staff-level ownership of a technically complex product area.
-
A solid track record of shipping customer-facing products from discovery through launch and iteration. Strong UX understanding and appreciation is essential.
-
Experience with enterprise SaaS, workflow products, approvals, task management, collaboration systems, or other products where state, permissions, and routing matter.
-
Real world experience with LLM-based systems and AI-assisted workflow experiences.
-
Fluency with APIs, data models, event-driven systems, workflow engines, and platform dependencies.
-
Strong quantitative judgment and experience defining metrics, instrumentation, and feedback loops to evaluate product quality and business impact.
-
Excellent customer empathy, written communication, and ability to make complex ideas clear to diverse audiences.
-
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across Engineering, Design, Data, AI, GTM, and executive stakeholders.
-
Comfort operating in ambiguity, making principled tradeoffs, and maintaining momentum across a broad and evolving product surface area.
