Good quality data is at the heart of our ambitions, we want to make data driven decisions, ensure our operational and analytical use cases are built on good quality, trustworthy data, alongside being the foundations of our ambitions for ML and AI. These data foundations, beginning with consistency, support our tech strategy of domain-owned data services which consolidate consumption onto reusable assets and expedite the removal of legacy technologies and point-to-point integrations. </p> <p>You’ll be part of a wider Integration and Batch Product group embedded within our Tech Platforms family, collectively driving standardisation, adoption, best practices and removing barriers across every domain within the organisation. </p> <p><b>What you need to do</b> </p> <p><b>As a Staff Product Manager, you will:</b> </p> <ul> <li>Deliver value through products that make a fundamental difference to our strategy and ambitions through collaboration and adoption of frameworks that enshrine trust in our data </li> <li>Be accountable for developing the vision, strategy, roadmap and backlog for your product, own the customer and business value, and make effective prioritisation choices to deliver maximum value and return on capital, ensuring we meet our corporate plan commitments. </li> <li>Be comfortable discussing technical details sufficiently to understand our internal customers problem statements </li> <li>Be expected to regularly working with teams from across domains to understand our key end-to-end data processes to prioritise where the greatest opportunities and needs exist</li> <li>Champion our principles – ensuring the journey, destination and decisions we make regarding Integrations align to our north start strategy and remove constraints for federated engineering teams to deliver greater value at pace. </li> <li>Understand how good quality data improves the experience and satisfaction of both Customers and Colleagues alike</li> <li>Monitor relevant industry trends keeping personal knowledge up to date with the latest developments and innovations pertinent to modern integrations and operational data flows. Specifically focusing on this role:
As part of a Product team and working in close collaboration with delivery, engineering and architecture you’ll focus on improving our data quality through increased observability. What you need to do
