Job Description
You will occupy a hybrid and cross-functional role, straddling several observability teams. The major challenge is to simplify and standardize the collection of observability data (logs, metrics, traces).
Your main objectives:
- Work on the standardization of observability data collection
- Study and implement use cases around OpenTelemetry
- Design instrumentation tools and patterns deployable on Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry
- Enable unified redirection of flows to different stacks (ELK or Grafana)
- Produce technical deliverables (architectures, recommendations, best practices)
- Understand the needs of internal users and put yourself in their shoes
- Play a key role as a facilitator and technical coach for the teams
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of observability challenges
- Comfortable investigating, prototyping, and documenting
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes environments
- Experience or strong interest in Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
- Ability to communicate with various profiles (platform, product, users)
