Job description
We are looking for a Backend Specialist to work in the Identity and Fraud unit of Serasa Experian, within the Platforms team, with cross-functional work across different squads.
The position will focus on raising engineering productivity and quality, working in partnership with Tech Leads, Architecture and Development teams on the evolution of standards, platforms and technical practices.
We are looking for someone with strong backend experience and a practical interest in AI applied to software development, using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, agents, skills and automations to accelerate development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting and code review.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally across squads, supporting technical decisions and the evolution of the platforms.
- Work with Tech Leads and Architecture to define standards, best practices and reusable solutions.
- Identify bottlenecks in development and implement improvements in productivity and quality.
- Explore and promote the use of ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents, skills and automations across the development lifecycle.
- Support the evolution of backend architectures, APIs, microservices and distributed solutions.
- Create components, templates and tools that accelerate the teams' work.
- Share knowledge and support the technical growth of engineers.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in backend development and high-scale systems.
- Advanced experience with C# / .NET.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, distributed systems and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Claude or similar generative AI tools in software development.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development practices, such as code generation and review, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, agents and automations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Architecture, Tech Leads, Engineering and Product.
- Good communication, technical influence and a continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Go (Golang).
- Experience with Platform Engineering or Developer Experience.
- Experience creating agents, skills, MCPs, workflows or automations with AI.
- Experience in Identity, Security or Fraud Prevention solutions.
