As a Senior UI Programmer, you will work on developing and optimizing user interface features for 7 days to die in collaboration with designers, artists, and other programmers, using Unity as our primary development platform. The position involves building efficient frameworks and supporting the continuous improvement of our UI systems, and is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a deep understanding of UI development, and an interest in collaborative problem-solving.

In this role, you will: Design, architect, and develop flexible, reusable, and optimized UI systems for the game. Define and maintain budget and performance related to the UI subsystem. Lead and implement complex screens and flows; in-game HUD to various gameplay UI Screens. Test, debug, and optimize code to ensure high quality standards. Maintain code quality through mentoring, collaboration, and code review process. Work closely with UI/UX/VFX designers and direction to set highest level of standards. Work within a cross-disciplinary team composed of programmers, designers, animators, and artists.

What we're looking for: 6+ years of experience as a programmer within the gaming industry. 4+ years of game development using Unity3D. 2+ years of UI development using UGUI and/or NGUI. Proficiency in design pattern and OOP using C# language, Experience developing UI taking into consideration: performance, memory allocation, lifecycle, localization, input, etc. Shipped at least one game on PC using Unity3d, Unreal, or proprietary game engines. Driven and inspired by user experience through UI. You love solving challenging technical problems with the most effective solutions.

What we are looking for: 6+ years of experience as a programmer in the gaming industry; Strong C++ programming skills; Strong understanding of game engine functionality and editing concepts; A keen interest and real enthusiasm for game technologies, user interface, and player experience; You love solving difficult technical problems with the most effective solutions; You have strong communication and interpersonal skills; Bonus point - Development experience with Unreal 4 or higher, UMG, or MVVM framework.
