Dead by Daylight is one of the largest live multiplayer games in the world, and after a decade of continuous growth, we are looking for a Senior Test Automation Specialist to lead the integration and evolution of the new UGC mode for the years ahead. The Senior Test Automation Specialist specializes in creating automated tests to ensure that user-generated content function reliably to limit manual validation.

In this role you will: Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual tests to validate gameplay content, and modding workflows. Design automated tests based on requests from Programmers and Designers, ensuring comprehensive coverage for new features and user-generated content. Continuously update and expand automated test suites to reflect game updates, engine changes, live-service content, and evolving modding capabilities. Define, document, and improve processes, testing standards, and development processes while collaborating with the Test Automation team to review, refine, and optimize testing strategies. Stay current with industry best practices in UGC moderation, automation testing requirements, security, and legal/compliance standards. Collaborate closely with Programmers, Legal, Community and Production teams to address complex moderation cases.

What we're looking for: 6+ years of experience in manual testing and test automation, software development, tools programming, or technical QA within the video game industry. 3+ years of experience in an automation test specialist role. Familiarity with programming languages such C++ or Unreal Blueprints. Experience in automation frameworks and debugging systems that improve development efficiency and quality. Solid understanding of game development pipelines, continuous integration, automated testing strategies, and live-service development practices. Strong collaboration and communication, with a passion for improving practices and processes.

What we're looking for: More than 6 years of experience in manual testing and test automation, software development, tools programming, or technical QA in the video game industry. More than 3 years of experience in a test automation specialist role. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Unreal Engine Blueprints. Experience with automation frameworks and debugging systems aimed at improving development efficiency and deliverable quality. Solid understanding of video game development pipelines, continuous integration (CI), automated testing strategies, and live-service development practices. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, along with a genuine commitment to continuously improving practices and processes.
