Build software that directly impacts healthcare
At Ecare, you don't work on a standalone application.

You work on software that is used daily by healthcare professionals. Think scheduling, client registration, and organizing care around clients. What you build or improve has a direct effect on how care teams do their work.

At the same time, the reality is clear: not everything is neatly organized. There is legacy code. There is technical debt. And there is much to improve.

That's exactly where your role comes in.

About Ecare

Ecare develops software for healthcare. With it, we support organizations in, among other things, community care with their daily work.

Our software helps healthcare professionals plan their work, register care, and organize processes around clients.

We work with multiple teams on one technical landscape. The ambition is clear: build with modern technology while improving existing systems.

What makes this role different from many backend positions:

You don't just work on the backend.

The choices you make are reflected in how the application is used.

You work in a team where screens and user experience are continuously improving.

Because of this, you see the direct impact of your work.

The challenge lies in the balance:

you deliver new functionality and make existing software better.

  • You work on complex software in a socially relevant domain

  • Your work has direct visible impact on practice

  • You combine new development with improving existing systems

  • You have influence on how solutions are technically implemented

  • You work with modern technology such as .NET, Azure, and Kubernetes

  • You have a strong technical foundation (preferably HBO/WO)

  • You have experience with .NET and backend development

  • You are willing to work fullstack

  • You think about architecture and quality

  • You take initiative and tackle things

  • You can bring others along and motivate them

  • You are not afraid to work in an environment that is still developing
