Senior Software Engineer, Agentic AI

What awaits you with us:
  • You work on consulting and software development projects for clients such as AXA, BMW, Deutsche Bahn, and ZDF

  • You design, develop, and implement software solutions by applying AI methods and tools throughout the entire software development process (e.g., LLMs, agentic frameworks, code generation, and test automation)

  • You build agentic workflows (tool-use/function calling, planner/executor, multi-agent patterns), define guardrails, and ensure reliable behavior

  • You develop RAG and retrieval architectures (embeddings, chunking strategies, re-ranking), systematically evaluate quality, and optimize latency/costs

  • You take on technical leadership in the project team when needed and share your knowledge (e.g., through training)

What sets you apart:
  • You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline

  • You have in-depth, practical knowledge of software development (e.g., with Python, Java, C#, TypeScript) and the use of AI in software engineering (e.g., Claude or Copilot)

  • You understand AI algorithms and ML fundamentals (e.g., classification, clustering, embeddings) and can evaluate AI systems

  • You have practical experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel), as well as prompting and structured outputs

  • You are familiar with agentic protocols such as MCP and A2A

  • You work independently and actively contribute to the success of your project team

  • You speak fluent German (at least C1) and very good English (at least B2)
