Job Description
In a regulated banking context with strong performance and reliability challenges, we are looking for a Java Back-End Developer to strengthen a team responsible for developing and maintaining critical applications.
- Design, develop and maintain Java Back-End applications in a banking context.
- Participate in functional and technical improvements of payment/card systems.
- Implement reliable and high-performance processing on sensitive transactional flows.
- Contribute to technical design, feature breakdown and solution selection.
- Perform unit tests and participate in integration testing.
- Analyze and fix incidents or anomalies in production.
- Work in collaboration with business teams, QA, DevOps and architecture.
- Comply with security, quality and compliance standards specific to the banking sector.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in Java Back-End development
- Mastery of Spring / Spring Boot and service-oriented architectures.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL…) and SQL.
- Experience in card payment / payment systems (card flows, ISO 8583, authorizations, clearing…) is highly appreciated.
- Sensitivity to performance, security and high availability issues.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and development best practices (testing, clean code).
- Autonomy, rigor, team spirit and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Fluent English required (written and oral).
- You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5);
