We are looking for a Senior Digital Intelligence Engineer who sits at the junction of serious data science and production engineering. At Brightbeam, this is not a purely specialist role - you will own data science workstreams with growing scope, deploy ML models into regulated production environments, and own client-facing AI evaluation conversations. You bring the depth to do the work and the communication skills to explain it clearly to enterprise stakeholders.
You are the third variant of Brightbeam's engineering function alongside the Engineer and Forward Deployed Engineer – a specialist who elevates every engagement you join.
Key requirements:

5+ years experience with the bulk in data science and ML, plus demonstrated software engineering capability

Deep traditional ML: statistical modelling, classical ML, evaluation methods, experiment design

Production engineering capability – you can build, deploy, and scale, not just hand off

Client-facing communication: able to own AI evaluation conversations with enterprise stakeholders

Real-world business application in production environments, ideally regulated industries
