Senior Business Analyst

4 x 8hr days (80% pay)Hybrid · Ipswich, UK

In this role, you will lead and mentor Business Analysts and Junior Business Analysts while driving the development of robust data governance frameworks that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to establish data standards, oversee data lifecycle management, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic, data-driven decision-making.

As a key liaison between business and technical teams, you will be responsible for gathering and analysing complex requirements, evaluating solutions, and recommending the most effective approaches to meet organisational goals. You will play a vital role in stakeholder management, change adoption, and project delivery—supporting initiatives from concept through to implementation. This role offers the opportunity to shape best practices, influence business processes, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and data stewardship across the organisation.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Strong experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, scoping, prioritisation, and managing both functional and non-functional requirements;

  • Proven ability to define and promote best practices, standards, and methodologies across business analysis and requirements management;

  • Advanced knowledge of industry modelling techniques, with the ability to select and apply appropriate tools and approaches for complex initiatives;

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise, influence, and drive adoption of tools, standards, and ways of working.
