Job Description

We are looking for a Resilience Specialist to play a key role in the execution and evolution of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program in Brazil, including Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and support for Crisis Management (CM).

The position will act as a representative of the Global Business Resilience Office (GBRO) and will be part of the 2nd Line of Defense, supporting business areas in identifying risks, assessing impacts, reviewing continuity strategies, and strengthening the organization's recovery capacity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct and support Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments related to business continuity.
  • Review and update Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management plans.
  • Evaluate resilience, redundancy, backup, and recovery strategies, including cloud environments.
  • Identify Single Points of Failure (SPOF) and opportunities for improvement in continuity and recovery solutions.

  • Monitor recovery, failover, tabletop, and continuity tests, evaluating results and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support areas in defining RTO and RPO consistent with business impacts and needs.
  • Track remediation plans related to resilience and continuity gaps.
  • Prepare executive reports, indicators, and presentations for governance forums.
  • Support the rollout of global initiatives and contribute to the continuous evolution of BCM and Disaster Recovery maturity in Brazil.
  • Act as a technical reference and advisor for resilience topics, helping different areas transform continuity requirements into practical actions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines technical knowledge, a risk-based mindset, and the ability to coordinate with different areas and levels of the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, including planning, execution, and evaluation of recovery exercises.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery, infrastructure, data storage, networking, and connectivity.
  • Experience with resilience and redundancy concepts in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Ability to evaluate architectures and identify Single Points of Failure (SPOF).
